Modular storage is transportable storage. We bring the storage to you! Once loaded into the large timber boxes, they are locked securely and then transported back to our central warehouse where they are stored. Easy access is available by appointment. There are different loading options which come with different costing. Self loading option : the module is loaded by the customer or Professional loading: we lift and load all the furniture and boxes for you .
Typically one module will hold the contents of a one bedroom apartment. Two modules the contents of a two bedroom unit. Three modules, a 3 bedroom home and so on.
SmartWay Storage also offers both 16 cubic metre (10’) and 33 cubic metre (20’) insulated shipping container storage. This storage type is great for large bulky items, small cars, jet skis, tradies’ tools. A 20’ shipping container will typically hold the contents of a 3 bedroom home. The containers can be accessed at any time and a parking space is provided in front of each container.
This flexibility allows us to recommend the most suitable storage solution based on how often you need access and the type of items you’re storing — the choice is yours and dependent on how long you are storing and what you are storing.

Pricing depends on volume, access requirements and duration. Residential mobile storage can start from around $169 per month, while 10 foot drive-up containers with 24/7 access start from approximately $260 per month* (check with us for current pricing and availability).
Are you bound to be locked into contracts?
No. Storage is based on a month to month basis.
Do you supply blankets?
Yes. While you are in storage blankets are supplied free of charge. They must be returned at the end of your storage period.
Can I use my own removalist?
The short answer is yes. If you are moving into modules it would be a better option to use our professional removalists as there is no double handling. If moving into the shipping containers we are happy to provide the removal or you can choose a removalist of choice.
Do you offer insurance?
Yes. For a small fee your goods can be covered while in storage.
Are your removalists contractors?
No. Our team of removalists have been with us for many years and are very experienced.
