What is the size of a module?
Modules are 2.4m x 2.4 m x 1.8 m and hold 10 cubic metres. Generally the contents of a one bedroom apartment.
I have large furniture pieces, will they fit in a module?
Sometimes furniture pieces are too large for a module. In that case we can store your goods in our oversize section of the facility or you may opt to store in one of our insulated shopping containers.
What are the sizes of your shipping containers?
SmartWay Storage has two sizes. The 20 foot containers ( 6m x 2.4m x 2.4m – 33 cubic metres) generally hold the contents of a 3 bedroom home. The 10 foot containers ( 3m x 2.4m x 2.4m) can hold a large one bedroom to small two bedroom home. Our containers are very popular for our business customers as well as household goods.
Why are your containers insulated?
SmartWay containers have an insulated coating that reduces the summer heat by up to 40%. It keeps the temperature in the containers at a moderate heat.
